I’d like to add the 2 rather large blocks of numbers that have ben shut down by Infobip via Peerless through rather erratic email experiences.
These blocks of numbers were being used to run Spectrum customer support scams by scammers in Pakistan.
The blocks of numbers were reported on August 24, 2024 to Infobip at [email protected].
This however didn’t seem to go anywhere as I was not sent an auto response or a response at all. I then emailed Peerless at investigations [email protected] on August 25, 2024 and this time I got an auto response from them.
I’ve seen both Peerless and Infobip flip flop between emails numerous times in the past. These are all of the known emails that the team has contacted Peerless & Infobip in regards to scam reports:
[email protected], [email protected], & [email protected]
At times, first email address will respond while the second one will not & other times, the second email address will respond while the first one will not, making it extremely difficult to report fraud cases to either Peerless or Infobip.
Regardless of which email is currently working, neither Peerless or Infobip will contact the consumer about the status of the case after receiving an email that states that the report has been sent to the wholesaler in question for further investigation. The reported numbers seem to be taken by Infobip or Peerless but the consumer has to call the numbers back to make sure.

I have another update for this thread.
Several blocks of numbers that were being used to run Spectrum customer support scams on the Peerless network have been shut down, with Peerless providing an update to our team about the status and outcome of the case (see details below).
The original report was sent to Peerless via email at [email protected] on August 27, 2024. An auto response was sent to the team on the same day, stating that the report had been accepted and was sent to the wholesaler in question. On August 29, 2024, 2 days later, Peerless sent a follow up to the team, stating that the customer of record had shut down all of the DID’s on the reported number blocks (see image below)
Calling the numbers back now presents the following disconnection message: “The number you have dialed is unallocated”
This is an outstanding result and one that we personally wish to see more of. Though the important thing is for the scam numbers to be shut down, it’s even better when the telecoms communicate with consumers about the status and outcome of their cases.

I sadly bring another case of Infobip/Peerless being inconsistent when it comes to customer support and fraud response. I reported a block of phone numbers on the Peerless and Airus network that are currently being used to run Spectrum customer support scams. This case involves 2 wholesalers on the Infobip network: Peerless and Airus.
The original report was filed on August 29, 2024, after which the team received an automatic response from Peerless.
On August 30, 2024, the team received another automated response, stating that the report has been forwarded to the wholesaler in question.
On August 30, 2024, the team reached out and let Peerless know that the block of numbers was currently active and answering as “Spectrum” with an impersonated Spectrum menu. Peerless did not get back to us until September 1, 2024, stating that the numbers and report were sent to the wholesaler in question. On September 2, 2024, the team then followed up by stating that the numbers were still live and answering as Spectrum. This would be the last time that we would receive an update from Peerless about this case.
Since Peerless (based on my on the team’s personal experience) has a habit of not contacting the consumer about the status of they cases, should they be acted upon, the team decided to call the number back to verify if they were taken down or not. None of the the numbers were taken down for fraud and as of September 8, 2024, all of the numbers remain live and are using an impersonated Spectrum menu with the scammers answering the phone as “Spectrum” at 10:30 AM, EDT. (See the email records below)
Please understand that the team reached out to Peerless about the time in which the scammers were active and answering the phones as “Spectrum” and when they stop answering the phones.
Evidence was sent to Peerless confirming our report and Peerless, Airus and Infobip has failed to act on our report.
All Peerless would have to do is simply call the numbers during the submitted time zones to verify the report.

I have another positive update for Infobip via Peerless. A massive block of numbers that were being used to run Spectrum customer support scams has been shut down. This time in 2 days. Even though they did nit update me on the outcome of the case, I wholeheartedly thank Peerless for taking the report seriously and acting upon it in a much more reasonable time.
