I got a missed call from the number: (206) 208-4063. I called it back & heard loud voices in the background like a huge call center.
Scammer: “US Internal Revenue Department, how can I help you?”
Me: “what? I can’t hear you? Hello?”
Scammer: “Hello Hello Hello?”
Me: “yeah I can hear you now. I just got this number yesterday, it’s a new number. I have a missed call from you. Who is this?”
Scammer: “what?”
Me: “I HAVE A MISSED CALL FROM YOU. WHO IS THIS!!!?”
Scammer: “Ah. Um, what is your name?”
Me: “I asked you first. Who is this?”
Scammer: “What is your name? Tell me your name.”
Me: “Fuck off. I’m not telling you shit.”
Then I hung up on him. I then noticed that I had a voicemail. The voicemail said in a robot voice: “You will be arrested in exactly 1 minute. The police are outside surrounding the area. To avoid jail, you must call the IRS back at 2062084063. You have an outstanding warrant. You will be arrested after this message expires but you must call us back when it ends at 2062084063.” It was a 40-45 second long voicemail. So after that I called 911 who then told me that it’s a Indian scammer & then I was transferred to a local police station & I reported it there also. The woman at the police station also said that it’s a Indian scammer.
