@NateymanB#111544 try to clear all cookies and cache of your browser. Also make sure you use a supported browser, that is Firefox and Chrome.
Another reason could be that there’s already someone with the same username on Discord. Try to create another Discord account with a different name and try to sign up using that one.
Lemme know how it goes.
yup what you said worked, thanks!
@NeeP#111560 You can rename your existing account and then try to login after you rename yourself
Often that works
Hello there! I need some help… I use my phone (iPhone Xr) to help in the good fight here… I am not able to get either browser (safari or chrome) to work properly with the microphone. Chrome is actually the worst, I cannot even get it to dial because it won’t detect that I have a mic. Safari at least asks for permission to connect to a mic and that gets me dialing but I cannot talk to the scammers. I can only leave them in silence or press some dial keys. (This actually really pisses them off sometimes) but I would really like to lead them on a dead trail sometimes too. … I know, I know , a computer setup is better but that’s not in my budget at the moment, maybe later. Thanks in advance!
@Regrad312#111621Which iOS version are you currently using? The last I tested on was iOS 11, and while I could make calls perfectly fine (as you can) I could also not use the phone’s built in microphone. We’ve had someone report though that iOS 13’s version of Safari has resolved this issue, so if you aren’t already using it and are willing to upgrade, I highly suggest giving that a try. If you are already using iOS 13, or upgrade and experience the same issue, then, if possible, try using an external microphone via the lightning to 3.5mm jack adapter.
Hopefully at one of those possible solutions will work, please let us know if it doesn't though.
@Norm_Harrison#111631 thanks for your reply, I was using iOS 12 and I have updated to 13. Unfortunately everything as I described before is exactly the same. I have also tried connecting mic to the 3.5 jack on both versions but still no luck… also strange because the sine wave bar has always shown that it can hear me and produces oscillation patterns (When using safari). Not going to stop me from dialing though! I’m still in this fight!
I found a fix! …… I (found) a Samsung tablet my kids abandoned in their closet…… Factory Re-set and Re-purposed it for the BOBfighterRTC…… LOL!
