Hello guys, I am from Kolkata, I’m new to scambaiting.
I never liked people get scammed and heard many stories from people I know who brag how he scammed people from abroad.
Its quite common here and everyone knows what the person is doing, still as its happening all over kolkata nobody says anything.
and if you guys think police will do anything about these scams, you are wasting your time.
Every company/call center pays the local police monthly so they keep their mouth close, every police stations knows all about the call centers and what happens here but they won’t do anything.
They raid 1-2 call center once in a while to let you guys know that they are doing something, call center owners just gift an iphone to a police station in charge and they will ignore every evidence.
To look more authentic they arrest the employees keeps them in police station for a night and leave them the next days. (Of course they collect some money from the owner) Thats it.
I ve heard people bragging that I scammed that lady’s whole retirement fund hahah. This is so sad.
Many people have built big houses and settled down and running their own thing (Alone).

As I said, they will do some raid, they can’t just sit with all evidence.
What I am trying to say that they will raid once in a while to make it look like they are on to it / investigating it. But in reality they arrest them and free them once they get some more money.
and usually only the employees gets arrested, if owner gets arrested they treat the owner like some business man, have a meeting, set a monthly price and let them go.

@CatMan Yes, hindi, bengali… also urdu. Pakistani people speaks urdu, its almost same as hindi but they use few different words.
