Identify Dialers By Call Answer Sound

Here is a thread to keep track of common answer sounds you hear when receiving a cold call or making a call scammer or not. With this you could finally know what dialer they are likely using just by the sound during call answer.

(VICIdial) commonly heard when dealing with most scam calls

(VICIdial) Heard a lot during both scams and legit customer service I heard this beep with legit Amazon support when an agent picks up

(VICIdial)

Any other call answer sounds or answers to the unknowns please reply

These answering sounds are helpful so you can also know what’s real or not.

Always Remember what the Answering sounds are for Real support lines such as Amazon where they use the 2 tone beep 2nd audio in my post and most of the time all agents have the same setup for receiving calls.

By knowing if it’s silence or what exact answer sound is heard when calling the real customer service of a company you can then tell scammers apart from the real deal.

For example, I knew someone who called the fake Comcast scammers but the menu message was the real one copied so they thought it was legit however you don’t hear the sound with Real Comcast but Heard the POP answer with those guys, and Boom they knew it was the fake Indian call center and they were correct.

This is no sub for other background checks as well but just one way to tell scammers apart.
