Though there’s not many VM’s for Mac out there, much less free, is their one you can access without having to restart your computer on Mac?
This is my personal opinion but like you said there is not many VM software choices out there for Mac’s because apple doesn’t like other O.S’s running on their precious hardware. Playing with Apple is hit or miss unless you are doing something like hardcore video editing or photo editing then it beats most modern PC’s I cannot deny them that. Best bet is to get a cheap dumpster rig dont need anything really just something to remote into with a Windows or Linux based O.S. then you can keep your Mac layout while still being able to explore other operating systems through virtualization software.
