Scams may be continuing, but so will we. I reported many scammers and I have seen some progress. When I have reported scam numbers, sometimes scammers’ VOIP accounts have been either suspended or shut down.
- To report scammer numbers, go to scammerblaster’s carrier lookup to find out the carrier
- Type or paste the number which is involved in the scam
- Check the Captcha box
- Click the “lookup” button. The page will refresh. After it finishes refreshing, scroll to the bottom of the web page
- Screenshot the bottom of the page, which will contain the number, carrier, and any contact you will need to contact to report the scam.
- Create the email, include the screenshot, explain the scam, and if you have any evidence and/or calling date/time, you will need to include that as well.
- Send the email and pay attention to anything that comes forward from the carrier. If you are told that a specific carrier allows illegal activity or ignores abuse reports, please report anyway.
