How to Modify BIOS info on Virtualbox

Does anyone here know how to modify the BIOS information so that Go To Assist Diagnostics tool does not pick up on it? I modified it through the vbox command lines in CMD on my host machine and it shows up fine on my vm. But when I run the Go To Assist tool on my vm the system diagnostics tool within Go To Assist shows that my BIOS version as “VBOX-1”

Just got busted by a scammer because of it lol.

How msinfo32 looks like on my vm:

How my vm BIOS looks like on Go To Assist Diagnostics tool:

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. :)

Thank you again for reading my post.

I think that’s a regedit job.

Just open regedit and do a backup of it or a snapshot of the whole VM prior to editing.

Then search (F3) for “VBOX-1”(there may be several instances of it), any instances of it should be changed to something else, like what’s on your host.

Thanks for the reply  Btw, does your browser start giving you stupid click confirmation things (possibly triggered by adsense) when you go to misspelled webpages to look for popups?

@Lemonade#26610 Maybe 5% of the time I get asked to ‘click to continue’ or 'click I’m not a robot" box when using misspelled webpages to find popups. I’ll take a screenshot of one next time

This warning is one of the google warnings, it just means someone has reported it, I’m not sure exactly what type of thing you’re talking about? I get other things too that ask me to click to get to the popups, I will post screenshots of them soon

I get these about 5% of the time when going to misspelled websites

Hmmm, so I deleted the entire VBOX folder from my registery and my VM still booted fine. Now I’m gonna try to connect my vm to the gotoassist support client on my host machine again and see what happens XD
