I’ve got a ton of emails in my spam folder. These have deceptive titles like “WelcomeToMedicare 2022”, " Welcome toEndurance Auto", “Wallmart Confirmation iPh219” and the such.
These emails have embedded links that go to an S3 amazon instance. Every time I’ve opened one of these (in a Linux virtual box!), it opens up a phishing website that pretends that you’ve won one of a few prizes. The phishing part is they want you to fill in a form with personal details and enter a credit card.
As far as I can tell, the origin of these is from the https://hifisoundclub.com/ people, which looks like a really sketchy site.
Now normally I’d love to get contacted by a scammer, so I could prank call them with soundboards and upload it to youtube. But in this case the number just disconnects after a while (UK number, (+44) 16 1520 0094).
How can I make them suffer?
