Sometimes I make it so blatantly obvious that I’m just messing with these scammers, yet they just keep reading their script and going through the scam. Today I told the SSA that my name was “Terry Maakichut” and even spelled it out for them and they just kept trying to scam me for an hour. During the call I talked to 3 different “officers” and none of them made the connection. The closing guy even kept calling me, “Miss Maakichut” while still going through the scam like normal and telling me to go to my bank. How can scammers be this stupid? Or do they just not care and want to waste their own time?
