How serious are you guys about this stuff?

Alright so I’m just curious on how serious you guys take this stuff because I prank called someone and they put my number on one of these sites and someone called and just read off my address to me and told me that they would be there soon to kill me and my family so idk if they are serious or not.

@Acapm#137769 Yup, what @1888TechLineOfficial#137778 said - never use your real number to call a scammer. It’s too easy to find someone with just a phone number and name. I’ve tracked down scam site owners to their home address, spouses name, how much they own on their home, etc… with just a phone number.

But depending on who it is you called, you probably don't have much to worry about in terms of physical harm. Most of these guys are not in the US but in India. And the front line guys on the telephones are usually just poor dumb schmucks who have no way to get to you even if they wanted to. All they have is empty insults and threats. They may try to retaliate by other means however, like put your number on various call lists so you get flooded with spam/scam calls - but those can be fun as well if you are into messing with them <grin>

@Otis#137779 the guy who called wasn’t from India

That's the main reason why I treat inbound call scammers with kid gloves. I always assume that they know my real name and phone number. But it doesn't stop me from messing with them, though. Only gently.

Were you the one who left me this message on May 9, 2020 around 12-something a.m.?

Smells suspiciously like benchod.

@josephnormandgrinnell#137797 yeah one of your fans called my ass up and left a message saying there ass was gonna find me andI’m not a scammer I do a lot of prank calls moment I saw that a YouTube who does this stuff leaked his own number the best opportunity I had that’s why I was very hesitant when speaking to you because I was holding back the laugh but if I were you change you number.

Acapm: If your number ends in 7575, I just deleted it. However, you might want to hit *67 in the future.
