How can they get away with this?

I went to Google to download Thunderbird to set up an email address, and look what I got at the very top:

Not only are they scamming, they are PAYING GOOGLE for the scam ad.


Looks like Google’s AdWords moderation team is rather inept.

I think what they do is have a real safe site, then when it gets approved, change the content of their site with all of the alerts and scam items.

It’s a pretty old practice, I had a friend fall victim to it once trying to download Winrar.

I just visited their site and it’s just some random site, doesn’t offer to download ThunderBird. Looks like it’s a simple clickbait ad.
