“you under-reported taxes by bot declaring income from drugs!”

@drwat#152826 Actually, that is funny. So they don’t care about the drugs but just the taxes. I am reporting this to CPB even though it will not do any good. You should too.

Me, too. Will report, as well as spread awareness to the local community (Nextdoor or Facebook), This is a new twist to the good old IRS and SSA scams.

@jaymee#153025 This one seems to have even more holes in it than the SSA script. I do hope they stick with it for a while - I can see lots of fun opportunities intertwined in that script!
@Otis#153026 Do you still get “card services” calls? Between by two landlines, I get at least once a day, very creative bots. The last one said Chase Bank. Caller ID is spoofed. When I gave the guy my fake credit card number today , he checked for a few minutes then verbally abused me. The usual suck my you know what. I laughed so hard, saying how could I, it is smaller than a soda pop straw. My wife doesn’t understand why I still pick up these calls.

Oh hell yes... lately it's been 5-6 a day at least - and I've noticed at least three different call centers they are originating from based on the recording used and hold music (if any).
@jaymee#153030 your point about my wife rings with me. Mine gets so pissed when I fuck with scammers. “Why do you waste your time with them???” I try explaining that they are criminals and time spent talking to me is time they’re not ripping off her mother. “My mother would never fall for stuff like that!!!”
Sigh...no surprise...she also doesn’t like the Three Stooges.
I bet that Justice in Texas likes the Three Stooges though 😆
