Extra Info: Called me quite a few times, when we actually managed to talk to each other, as when I was calling back I couldn’t reach him - Dude claimed I was eligible for one of their BS home security promotions (he didn’t go into much detail). Dumb ass him, then started asking suspicious questions such as “Do you own or rent your home? If you don’t, your not eligible actually” “How many doors do you have in your house?” (blah blah blah, also an american friend verified they don’t act this way so they aren’t innocent surely.) Dude hadn’t realized he called a VoIP number and I’m British (as I’ve stated multiple times). Like, how do you say I’m eligible for such a thing, if you clearly don’t know where I live and called a VoIP number associated to someone overseas (etc)? Clear scam. Have at it boys.
Add the matter of fact when I called again and he didn’t answer, then called me back (VoIP app glitched so then had to call back again) when he answered he read his bs opening script before realising it was me. When I confronted him about how I’m apparently eligible, he couldn’t tell me then shortly claimed he never said I was eligible and “iT’s JuSt HoMe SECuritY”, which makes no sense - he then again hung up. Doesn’t SEEM to be able to block, or at least block easy or maybe he just cba to block. VM doesn’t say it’s a textnow simply that the person can’t be reached rn BLAH BLAH BLAH (Also claims at first, usually, that it’s a rEcOrDeD line.) Also it’s ofc always the same dude to answer.
