Home security scam 954-304-1091

I called this number back and the doofus started answering again. They purport to sell for Brinks Home Security. I called Brinks corporate and they were quite emphatic that they had no relationship with these jerk offs.

I called to jerk them around a little and played dumb. He’s called me back five times. I can’t remember his name but his “brother’s” name is Sean. Just tell him that you wanted a security system and you had talked to Sean.

If you don’t mind letting me know how it goes please reply here. Happy scambaiting!!

@FattyMatty#133209 I called and some guy picked up who said someone had spoofed his number and he had been getting a bunch of calls because of it. Sounded legit… he answered with a simple “hello”, and when I responded, he said “Yeah, did you get a call from this number?” and we went from there.

But here is the catch - the number comes up as a mobile phone for a guy named Ian, and location of Boca Raton, FL. There is also a Facebook page for Admiral Home Security, also located in Boca, and with the same phone number and the same 'previous' address of his. The one complaint on that facebook page specifically mentions Ian by name and goes on about how he will sell you a security system, make 'false promises', etc... also mentions he used to own a company named "CoreHome Security", also in Boca. I couldn't find any link to him at CoreHome. It also appears that Admiral Home Security is now listed as INACTIVE, possibly shut down in September of last year (09/19).

Great research Otis. Ian is the other “brother” and I think you’ve discovered that he is a bad actor. Thanks for the follow up. Hope you guys go after him!

I’ve been dealing with those calls for a while and have received over 100 of them logged and most recorded, despite me being on the DNC list and telling them to stop. I even provided recording and a deposition against his old business buddies Justin Ramsey & Dustin Pillonato, yet this guy thinks he is bulletproof.

They have been spoofing numbers for a while, including mine - and they continue to do so. On April 18,2023 I received another one of the their IVR calls, this one was the Charlotte at American Home Security one. I posted it on YouTube at https://youtu.be/1yDunxyD_BU . The spoofed number that showed up on the caller ID actually belonged to a physical therapy center here in Atlanta for injured and disabled children.

The 04/18 call identified the employee as Arthur Pimental. In another call received on 04/29, which used the “Ellie at Smart Alarms” IVR, the employee was Juliana Viggiano.

After I filed a complaint against the 04/18 incident I received a call from Ryan Neill, the owner of Core Home Security. He denied knowing Justin Ramsey, Dustin Pillonato or Jasjit Gotra and he promptly offered me what I considered an attempted bribe of a $1500 payment if I “released him of any blame” for the telemarketing calls. I refused the payment and reported them to the FTC and the Florida AG. I have the bribe call recorded as well.

Core Home Security, also known as The Altitude Group LLC, has a bunch of other businesses under their umbrella:

corehomesolar.com

  • a bunch of other partners, you can see them through who builds their websites (LeadCroc). They operate out of Florida and Texas and his attorney is also licensed in both of those states.
He also has Altitude Marketing & the Landfall Marketing link is actually Ryan’s company called Landfall Media Group LLC.

Ryan also stated they were just a small company of 4 employees and everyone else was just contractors. This conflicts with their PPP payments of just over $250,000 where he stated that The Altitude Group LLC had 19 employees.

When his attorney found out I had a recording of the bribe attempt he quickly sent me a threatening email saying my phone recording was illegal and threatened legal action. I informed him this was not accurate as my recordings have been used in other cases, including one from their partner Ramsey, of which the FTC introduced as evidence without objection.

If anyone is ever able to get the Florida AG to stop ignoring this, please give them my contact info. I see where this was an old post but since the guy is still in operation I wanted to update things here in case anyone else has any input.

Screw that…get an attorney and sue them for 100 violations of the TCPA at $1500-$3000/call… I made $25K doing that…never went to court but several companies settled prior to going to court. Let me know if you need some help.

Is the Altitude Group connected to the call in the original post 9543041091?
