Got a new one today on my “number”. They wanted to know my mortgage interest rate–so I told them it was a whopping 6.5% with Happy Valley Bank and they proceeded to tell me about how much they could lower my rate. Had absurd Indian accents and could not pronounce my name “Harry Homebacker” (Etch-a as in apple, r as in Romeo…).
They called from this number: 443-291-8663
Lee said it was The Best Morgage Company, (NJ)
Nancy said it was Rate Finder (FL)
Carson said it was Refi-Solutions (PA)
After bombing them, the last scammer just said they were from Delhi and he only makes 15000 rupees/ month ($216.35 US)
Let them have it--and tell them Harry send you. :-)
