Scammers are rather impersonating a real company. 1800Remodel is a legitimate company in the US. The phone number you posted is not the legit company’s real phone number.

Legit companies are capable of illegal business practices. Companies violate FTC regulations and protect themselves from exposure and enforcement. The best way to determine whether the company is running a scam is to ask questions about their services and background as if you are a real interested customer. When they hang up on you, you know they are a scammer.
