Home-Based Linux Box for handling robocalls

Not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask. Would like to get a cheap VOIP service or home-based linux box to answer robocallers. Tried NOMOROBO, but calls still get through. Would be nice to have some way of switching the calls to something that would waste the caller’s time. Solar energy and utilities calls are the worst.

I like nomorobo, but this is not the place for advertising

@TheCEoHN#107370 I don’t think this person’s post is spam. Therefore, I have dismissed the flag.

Sorry i might have reacted a bit to fast

You could post it with a software tag if you like to talk about the use of program itself
Or nomorobo.com as a usefull website to find scammers numbers and sometimes other information.

Unfortunaly for now there are no good services known to stop all spam calls
The best way for now seems reliable information
And since most people find their information online scammer.info is a great platform
and for those who wish to fight back many links to bobrtc (a free online voip provider, limiting their calls to scammers and other illegal activities) can be found.

I deleted my reply , but could not remove my flag

Sorry for troubling you

Not promoting any product. Looking for a self-managed solution via linux. Have read about free pbx solutions and voice recogniton/AI. Not sure how to put it all together. Might be more complex than it seems.
