They sound misleading. They called my phone, didnt leave a message but they must have called ID because when I call back they called me by name. They told me I would get a free home alarm system. They transferred me to another person… that person was supposed to see what kind of promotions they have in my area. I asked how it could be free ($800 alarm system) and she said it was just free. I asked if there was a monthly charge and she said yes. I hung up. Not sure if it qualifies as a scam but I believe I’m on the do not call registry so legit businesses arent supposed to call you from what I understand and they seem sketchy.
