On April 30, 2026, a video was uploaded to the Scambaiter YouTube channel exposing HiTech Solutions, a scam call center operating from Plot C, 25, Block C Pia Housing Scheme, Lahore, 54770, Pakistan.
How their scam worked was
- The scammers would call their victims through the use of ViciDial, operating under the false personation of Telus Mobility and promising their victims “a free phone.”
- The victims would then be coerced into signing up for a new Telus plan, with the scammers collecting their personal details and sending them a brand new phone.
- When the phone is delivered, however, the scammers call the victim and falsely claim it was the “wrong delivery,” demanding they ship the phone to a designated courier, or mule.
- The mule will then hand the phone back to the scammers for the purpose of resale.
