Hi to everyone of you. I’m Alex, a 19-yo University Student from Italy. I’m at the 1st year of ICT, in particular Internet of Things side. I finished high school (Graphics design).
For a long time I’ve been watching scambaiting videos made by Scammers Payback (Pierogi), Malcolm Merlyn, Jim Browning and going on.
I want to contribute, by calling all of these scammers, warning people about the risks, downloading secretly scammers’ information and producing some funny content.
I have some questions to ask you, if possible, please.
Is there a free voIP service to call all of these scammers? (I don’t have lots of money…) I’m asking this because I’ll call them from Italy, and if I use my Italian number all of my phone credit would be sucked up.
I have more questions, but I don’t want to bother you.
Use something like TextNow for the phone number. Dont use your real computer use a virtual machine and install wireshark on your computer just in case they use something like TeamViewer or software that doesnt have protection but its pretty common to see scammers use software which has protection against their ip but they use VPN’s sometimes just try to search up whatever IP goes in the most. Did this with a scammer and got the approxmiate location of a scammer because they are so dumb and dont want to use protection for whatever reason.
If you don't already have Discord sign up for a Discord account, which you can use for https://bobrtc.live Given that you are in Italy if your interest is technical support scammers you'll need to follow the US East Coast time zone because most of these scammers are located in India and they follow the time zone in New York (GMT-4/-5). That would mean you're more likely to find workable numbers to call between the hours of 10AM-7PM, which for your time zone (GMT+2) you'd be either 6 or 7 hours ahead of New York.
So for you, you are much more likely to get results late in the afternoon and evening hours where you are than if you tried to do calls during morning/lunchtime when it's too early in the morning in NYC. Many scammers follow the US East Coast time zone because 50% of the USA population lives in it.
Other types of scams (particularly student loans) occur much later in the day, usually starting around lunchtime (NYC) going to late in the evening because those scammers are USA-based and are in California and Nevada so they're doing their calling in waves hitting each time zone in their pre-dinner time peak.
How are you ? How are you getting on with the scam baiting? And I’d use https://bobrtc.tel as they give a different number each time you call a scammer
