Hi!
I got scammed by Phantom Trading (https://phantomtradingfx.com/) together with capitalgoldfx.com for €1200. This is a lot of money for me atm which is the reason why I’ve been susceptible to the fraud in the first place. Is there anything you can do to stick it back to them?
They take an initial crypto deposit and want a withdrawal fee afterwards to withdraw the “profits”. After also paying the withdrawal fee they wanted another $550 for generating a private key. That’s then it clicked and I knew I lost my initial €1200.
I can send some screenshots if that helps

have you spoken to your bank about this?
I’d recommend filing a fraud report with the police and reporting the scam, then going to your bank (if you paid via your bank and not another payment method) and high-tech crime. Change any passwords that are the same as the one on that site https://bitwarden.net/ is good and if you wanna be fully safe use 2FA like Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator or UbiKey (do not use phone call or text message 2fa it’s very insecure STOP using this Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) method! - YouTube as you can be sim swapped) and if they remoted into your device (they could control it) not likely then run Removing Unwanted Software - Boda Scambaits and an antivirus scan.
First thing I’m going to do on monday, but I guess the chances are slim to none as the transactions were made with btc
Sorry to know your loss. Did they provide any phone number?
Any more details? 35.214.109.17 IP location: London
These are my transactions all sent to bc1qhudqn080k8eemycqkyz90ase4gjaltzlrkfjda

As well as another one which they use for transferring money bc1qrpv6ga8zz68kfxhwqs3xu9a0detrwm2glnmacn
Unfortunately i didn’t recieve any phone numbers.
It looks like capitalgoldfgx.com and vilagoldfx.com are the same scammers.
All I know is that phantom trading are advertising them throug their Telegramm Channel as investment parnter. Except that part phantom trading is legit that’s why I had any trust in the first place.
WhoIs doesn’t help very much either:

Backup of https://web.archive.org/web/20221029181046/https://vilagoldfx.com/ as it is NameCheap, for if police want to visit the page. I’d recommend taking screenshots.
Sorry about that man, but your best bet is to file a police report. here is a number i found on one of the websites +1770-742-9012 (google voice) and Fake address is (48 Warwick Street, London, England, W1B 5AW) as nothing shows that they have a rented office there.
http://capitalgoldfx.com/ is hosted on a German server with an Icelandic phone number and address
PhantomTradingFx.com is hosted on a UK server and registered with a US number and address
