While I was away to celebrate a cousin’s graduation, I stumbled across a video by the legendary @JimBrowning11 on a group of scammers operating out of 8B, Iqbal Avenue Cooperative Housing Society - Phase I Johar Town, Lahore, Punjab 54000. While they will pose as American utility or telecommunications providers, the actual name of their company is HHH E-Commerce Private Limited.
Their scam is usually promoted through fraudulent advertising, with the calls being answered through Vicidial. The scammers will then collect personal data about their victims, including physical addresses and SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS, and ask for their victims’ credit card details to have them cover a nonexistent “outstanding payment” upfront.
