I told them I want to speak with their manager because the "last guy did a great job". They put the head douchebag on the phone. I "exchanged pleasantries" with this guy about our moms for a bit until he told me that "these calls are routed though America and every call costs us $15". Please please please tell me this is true.
I called this one on 4/1 and spent some time with them.
If the scamming company buys the pop-ups (not in-house production) they pay about $6.50 to $7 per call if it lasts beyond three minutes, else no charge.

@drwat#26224 what you’re saying is that the 800 number we’re calling is linked to the ad firm who routes the call, right? I’ve noticed that I’ve got a couple of numbers that land in different call centers.
