Help! Tracking a scammer

Hello scambaiters,

I'm posting this after long thinking and some research.

I'm new! I use kali linux OS and opera with vpn (sometimes I run random IP creator using python script) to gather scammer details (haven't started to call yet). I used to dig and trace ip of the scammers and do some basic research. However, when I do IP trace I mostly find the cloud platform where its hosted and after further digging by using SecurityTrial app, I see the historical data (even mail server) but I don't see where they're exactly located (as I'm not doing calls / screen share, I don't use wireshark for analysing packets )

Is there any other way to find out who and where they're exactly located?

Appreciate your help in advance :)

PS: Also please recommend any useful / must know info like organization search places or so :D

If you havent heard of grabify, it is a link redirector that logs ips and such. I use it by getting a website/image that I want to show the scammer asking if I am in the right place, like for instance on the teamviewer website (If they have a livechat feature for me to send them the url on) When they click on the link (I make my links look like joinmy.site) their IP adress and a whole slew of things are recorded
