Does anyone know the ins and outs of the pig slaughter/butcher scam? A friend of mine has been ropped into one at a price of $30,000. Trying to help him possibly get his money back. He can still see the cash in his crypto wallet but when he tries to withdraw, it disappears.
He met someone on a dating site 6 months ago and has been being strung along with that and invested in some sort of crypto scam.
PLEASE, someone who knows more about this let me know. He did contact someone in the government but they only wanted to record what happened and not help…Thanks in advance!
i assume the money was deposited in the Scammers Site like it usually is with these type of Scams and its sadly gone at the point where he sent it, even if the scammer site shows it still has its money, its just to extort more money out of the victim.
Its in his coinbase wallet but when he goes to remove any it disappears.
