I wanted to share with all of you the following information… in regards to Twilio, Bandwidth and Vonage phone networks I have been having success reporting the numbers directly to these companies. I’m certain that this is not new to most of you, maybe you have also had your own successes at this or maybe some of you were put off because the response was not what you expected from the network company. I would like to share my tips so that we may all have better luck.
—First, I always speak respectfully and engage with a polite tone, it goes a long way in the end.
—Second, I will always try to contact the sales departments before trying customer service. The reason for this is because (during business hours of course) the sales department will always answer. Use those polite tones I talked about earlier to get the conversation started. Sometimes I get transferred to customer service or fraud department, but I have also had sales representative take the issue directly to their upper management.
Twilio has a great way of reporting right on their webpage. Look for ‘Repot Abuse/Report a violation’ tab at the bottom. If you prefer a person their sales number is listed on the site.
In my experience Twilio has had the best response, contacting me that entire accounts were shut down.
Both Vonage and Bandwidth contacted me that just the numbers were disconnected.

We have taken immediate action by shutting down the account associated with the number you've provided.

The Vonage sales rep I spoke with personally called me back to thank me and inform me the numbers I reported were disconnected.
