These guys hae been charging my card and I informed my bank and they said they could not reverse the charges as I sent a confirmation email. I did not send any email. Now, when I checked I saw my mouse moving around and opened my camera and then did something, How can I get this rid?
Close and uninstall everything they downloaded on your Computer like Anydesk or Teamviewer
Reset your banking password and email password and remove any remote software from your PC.
@ron87#151985 Tell your bank that you did not authorize the charges or send any “confirmation” emails, and initiate a chargeback. Both Visa and Mastercard have a Zero Liability policy that protects customers from unauthorized and fraudulent charges.
To get rid of them from your computer:
a. You can use System Restore to restore your computer to a date prior to the scammers gaining access.
b. Uninstall any remote access software they've installed on your computer.
c. If the options above doesn't work, or you're still concerned, back-up your important documents, photos, videos and etc and do a clean install of Windows.
Put something over the camera so they can not spy on you. Whenever the computer is on, they are watching everything you do.
Turn off your Wifi / Internet connection, go into your programs and uninstall all remote connection programs. I would recommend uninstalling everything except the PC's necessary programs.
If all else fails, if you have a local computer shop that is opened, I would recommend taking your computer there.
These scammers are ruthess criminals that are trying to steal your information and money. They likely have already stolen lots of your information. I would recommend talking to the bank again and contacting your credit card company if you gave them your credit card.
I got in touch with the law enforecement team in India and they found the guy.
But, they would need more petitions to take this seriously and to action.
How can I get more people to submit petitions?
I got in touch with the law enforcement team and got every inch of his details. But, how can this be stopped? They seemed to slow down. Is this scammer guy that big?
