Lady told me they need to do a soft inquiry of my credit report. Protocol requires them to collect my full name, best call back number AND address to start with or else they can’t proceed. When I told her I had $30,000 in credit card debt (Peter Griffin Reference) - she said they still need to see it on their end. I asked if she did medium or hard inquiries, she said no only soft. I told her again I just told her what the report was of my credit and she said they need to check themselves and they need to have a copy of it on file. When I asked if she wanted it faxed from me, she hung up. Didn’t identify the company at all throughout the whole call, I kept her repeating the fact it was protocol blah blah for about 5 mins straight.

She also leaked the incorrect callback number first time round and said she was looking at the “wrong thing” I have it saved, should I call it? Maybe it’s a potential victim? It’s an 818 number.
could be a victim or a mule number
so should I call and see or???
can u pm me the number? i have a premium white pages acct so i can see who it belongs to if its a real number and not a VoIP
check your pm.
63 years old so im thinking victim
Should I call and see what I can find out? And make them aware…
yes if its a victim then try to help!
I’ll keep you updated.
hang on, guy said it wasn’t andy and instantly hung up - voice wasn’t clear in the moment which didn’t help but definitely male and does sound like an older one too. It currently ends up ringing out to voicemail. And I didn’t even get a chance to actually speak, even if it isn’t Andy and whether or not the number is owned by someone else now or something - the number was still accidentally shared with me weirdly and I, myself have reason to believe it’s a potential victim based on the circumstances. Still worth a shot.
I sent a text to the number, unsure if it can even receive texts - so we’ll see.
it is a cell phone according to white pages so hopefully they see the text if it is a victim
Don’t quite like the fact there’s people like this who just hang up like that, like damn… give the caller a chance lol.
