Guy tried to scam me on EBay

I put my old phone for sale on EBay, I was contacted by someone on a brand new account who gave me his phone number and asked me to contact him on WhatsApp to discussion price of my phone.

Immediately asked for my PayPal address and when I called him out for being a scammer he started talking shit then blocked me, he claimed to be from the UK but his English was a bit broken

I’ve just got a message from this guy, and we’ve moved onto WhatsApp. How was this guy trying to scam you? Forgive me as I have never sold on eBay before, but how would he be able to scam me, if I’m the seller?

I am also more than happy to waste as much of his time as I can ;)
