On December 19, 2024, police in Gurugram, India conducted a raid at an illegal call center out of Plot 270 in Udyog Vihar, Phase 2 for facilitating Quickbooks technical support scams against American residents and heavily promoting their scam on Google. 19 individuals were arrested under sections 318(4) and 319 of the BNS and the IT Act:
