The scammers used their (223) number to send an illegal robocall to my cell phone, which is on the do-not-call registry, just to send me the following prerecorded voicemail:
“Hi. This is an automated reminder with Green Finance about a $30,000 relief fund at a monthly payment of $350 available for personal expenses, consolidation or emergencies. You can call us on (657) 207-4998. No credit check is required and same day approval is available. You can call us on (657) 207-4998”
When I called, the scammers tried to sign me up for their “debt consolidation program,” which requires the scammers to run a check on my credit report.
