Google Support 716-249-1643

Bob from Google Support called and said hackers are trying to get into my YouTube account. He wanted my gmail account, the password, the last four digits of my Social Security number, and my mother’s maiden name. I called him back on Jan. 7 around 9:40ish EST.

Here is the recording:

@josephnormandgrinnell#173207 Geez Joe, did he want your pension and your wife too, lol.

@Jhawk#173237 LOL.

@Jhawk#173237 Someone in the YouTube comments said the scammer was using Google Voice to call me. I wonder if the scammer is a “lone wolf” working alone in a basement? Maybe he once worked for a criminal-enterprise-call-center, got fired, stole their phone number list before leaving, and now he is keeping all the gains for himself?

That was me Joe who posted that. I tracked it back to him and my thought was also he's a "lone wolf".

@Jhawk#173247 Woops. I did not connect the dots. :slight_smile: “Jhawk” and “John Hawk.”

The scammer claims he’s Wendy’s now haha

An adult-sounding person with an American-sounding accent said his son has been making prank calls from this phone number. (He left it as a phone message at 11-something at night.) I decided to make the video private, in case it is really true. This happens about once per year.
