Good to use VPS as scambaiting machine?

Hello.

This is my first post and I am new to scambait. I don’t think I am able to create a VM on my pc, due to the components I have, sadly. But I do have lots of VPS’s that I can use. But wouldn’t the scammers software (Remote Access Tool) interfere with my connection to my VPS with Remote Desktop Connection, if they get access to my VPS?

I have used a VM that was hosted in Azure for scambaiting and was able to stay connected via RDP while the scammer connected via Go To Assist.
