Hey, so it appears you have to be trusted/verified for your posts and comments to not go through a sometimes rather long approval process. How does one go about being trusted/approved on this site to not have to go through this?

After a certain, undefined time and also influenced by the reputation and upvotes your user account collects we will approve you so that your posts are going through directly. You’re pretty new so it might take some time still.
Sorry for the inconvenience but we have to do that to filter trolls out who are posting legitimate businesses and persons instead of scammers.
So stay active, post good content and after a while we will approve you

I think I used to be approved then lost that (I assume when lots of people were spamming so everyone got demoted pending approval).
I too have been on approval for months it seems yet I have never posted any spam / legit businesses.

I just want to ask how long it usually takes to approve? I made 2 posts about a type of scam that I encountered 2 months ago and a list of website and numbers of tech support scams I found on Google. Just wondering how long the process usually takes.

@staciejaxx#156683 Usually it shouldn’t take longer than 10h, much faster depending on how many mods are online and in which time it has been posted. You mean to say your post is stuck in approval queue since 2 months?

And no, not really. I think at the time of writing, I was waiting for around 12 hours or something. Not really something I would complain about but was just wondering how long the process took in effect.
