Getting "charged" for calls

I’ve called a dodgy cold calling PPI claims company a handful of times since I’ve seen a lot of reports of people being harassed by them.

I spoke to the manager today who was rather arrogant and said I would be charged for the calls.

What does that mean? My phone contract covers the number so I don't see what they mean

Most likely just a bad scare tactic, don’t worry about it.

I agree, it sounds like a scare tactic.

Hopefully you arent using your real phone number, either.
