The scammer will falsely claim the purchase was made out-of-state, prompting me to “cancel” by “opening the Google Chrome” and downloading ConnectWise from jwhelp.top (Code:, 52143).
- I faked the download not working, prompting the incredibly-nosey and impatient scammer to have me install UltraViewer (ID: 66215166/LAPTOP-R9SA9RQR). The call center will also use AnyDesk.
- Once remotely connected to my virtual machine, the bhenchod asked me to fill out a “cancellation and refund form,” which falsely claims to be from the FTC and secured by the Better Business Bureau
- After completing the form, I was asked to log into my nonexistent bank account. But as I don’t do online banking, he refused to “suppoat,” so I played him the Bhenchod Song.
