Answers as: “Cancellation Department” (Will hang up when you ask for the company name), “PayPal” or “Geek Squad”
Technician: “Steve”
Falsely Claims: Geek Squad services expired.
Website: geeksquad8.yolasite.com
Remote Access Software: Alpemix, AnyDesk, RemotePC, TeamViewer and UltraViewer
The scammers also used (530) 505-7306, a TextNow line that is now longer in service.
