Technician: “John”
“John” refused to provide a proper company name and hung up on me, until I called back and forced him to provide their company identity of Geek System, LLC, which falsely claims to operate out of Dover, Delaware.
The scammers appear to only accept payments via eCheck in the following amounts:
- $45 for a one-time “recovery”
- $99 for a one-time “fix”
- $149/month for “incidental care”
- $139 for a one-year “support”
- $199/year for their “bronze” plan
- $249/year for their “silver” plan
- $349/year for their “gold” plan.
