Geek Squad Tech Support Scam | Funniest Experience Ever | +1 (888) 328-2932

Phone Number - +1 (888) 328-2932

I got a phone call today from a 1800 number. You already know that it is a scammer calling from India. I pick up and a robot talks to me. It tells me that I have a $295.04 subscription fee, and I have to cancel it now to get my money back. The robot hangs up and tells me to call back. Knowing me, I obviously call back.
I am greeted by the typical Indian scammer voice. He tells me to go to Ultraviewer.net. I play along with him to waste his time and prevent someone else from getting scammed. I try to figure out just what the hell they were telling me to download, but I never got a clear response. He just said, "I go through procedure when download." I tell him that I have bad internet connection and it will take at least five minutes. In the mean time, I ask him what this will do. He never told me what Ultra Viewer did, but I already knew. It says on the website that it shares files and connects to your computer. You can guess what they will do next. If any of you guys out there have a throwaway PC I suggest getting there hopes up high. Anyway, this guy was really not trying to give any information, so I just hung up while "waiting" for the virus to "download."
I called the number again, and was greeted with another Indian voice with the distant sounds of other people in the background. This is where it gets good. I asked this guy what Ultra Viewer does, and he actually gave me an answer. He said that it connects to my computer and the tech will help pay the bill of $295. This kind of gibberish went on for about five minutes, and then I got bored. I called him a motherchode. He instantly started laughing. I was expecting him to hang up, but he never did. Instead, he started he came back with all of his Indian buds. He said he was going to transfer me to his supervisor, so I was like ight. I keep calling him a motherchode, and then he starts with his own Indian insults. He is laughing and it is all fun and games to him. Then he asked me if I wanted to learn some Hindi. I said yes, and he taught me how to call myself and idiot and a d*ck head. After that, he taught me a few more Hindi words that I don't know how to pronounce or what they mean. I was cracking up because this guy is supposed to be a scammer. He was just letting me waste his time. He asked me how old I was, and I said I was 18. He told me he was 18, and that he lived in Bangalore, India. His name was Shane, and he is Christian apparently, although that brings senses to irony in my mind. It is a sin to scam people in Christianity. When he said that his name was Shane and that he was Christian, I lost it. He asked me if I had a girlfriend, and I was perplexed by this question. I said no, and he said that he had a girlfriend. I was all like, "Good for you man; that's great." Then he called me his bro and taught me some more Indian "prayers." To be honest, he was probably telling me to worship Satan, and if he did, all I can say is I am sorry God. Hope you guys have fun with this one. If you do end up calling, ask for Shane. His name most likely is not Shane, but give it a shot. Good luck; thank you for your time!

90% of the refund/subscription scams originate from Kolkata, India. Typical operations are one room with 5-8 scammers huddled in a crowded space.

My observations by watching videos of Jim Browning and DVR suggest that majority are Muslims and different small call centers are operated by relatives or extended family.
