800TollFreeNow, a deafchode answered as “Customer Suppoat for the Geek Squad cancellation department” and falsely claimed my identity was stolen to make the subscription, prompting me to “cancel” by “opening the Google Chrome” and downloading SupRemo.
- The scammers never remotely connected to my virtual machine, but they did ask if I do online banking. But as I don’t do online banking, they placed my call on an endless hold and never got back to me.
- I called back, and the scammers refused to provide “suppoat”
They will want to connect using Supremo.
