I faked their ConnectWise download not working, so the incredibly-deaf “John William” asked me to install SupRemo. Once he remotely connected to my virtual machine, he asked me to install ConnectWise before having me fill out a “Geeksquad cancellation and refund form,” which falsely claims they are registered with the Better Business Bureau.
Once complete, I was asked to log into my nonexistent bank account. But since I don’t do online banking, the call was transferred to his “senior supervisor, Sam,” who tried to get me to log into a separate banking website before asking me to open the Command Prompt to “connect to the World Bank Server”
