“I got an email from Geek Squad telling me that my TotalAV software was being renewed and they needed access to my computer to verify that it had been replaced and didn’t need to be renewed at a cost of $422.44. I called the contact number 1-802-302-5678 and was told that my account has been billed for $551.00 and if I needed to cancel I would need to allow them access to my PC and that sounded fishy, so I told the guy that I would simply call my bank and dispute the charge to be more secure. I then hung up the phone. I checked my account at the bank and no charge has been made as yet, but it will be disputed and resolved quickly and safely.”
