Tried calling again to waste his time with a Windows XP VM. He got sick of me acting like I wasn’t tech savvy (I acted like I thought the Internet Connection Wizard was a hacker.) and hung up. It was fun to waste his time, though.
question: how do you install a current browser in windows xp? I’ve always wanted to run a windows xp VM and I can never find a browser that still works for it now. have any suggestions?
RIght off the bat made fun of my voice and told me to f myself. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor and went through doing a complaint. Oh, Sam Cooper was sooo helpful. Until I called him out at the end with a string of nice profanity about his mother.

they hang up on you when you try to explain anything. called them on separate numbers and they keep hanging up. kinda like they are about to shut down. probably not but it is kinda like they are.
Sadly I don’t know too much about actually connecting to the internet on Windows XP. The most I’ve done is just mess around with the options trying to get it to work, but it doesn’t help that it’s 21 years old. In this case, having no internet helped me. I was able to get the scammer, ‘Joseph’ pretty upset.
dang, okay. I was about to ask how you got the scammer to connect to the windows XP machine. that is like kitboga connecting that scammer to windows 3.1x. VM.
