Okay, their 'phone system sucks. Well, maybe it could be my Text Me number I suppose.
So I called for the first time. Someone answered the call and for a couple of seconds I heard some talking in the background and I was saying, “Hello. Hello, are you there?” Finally I heard a guy’s voice say that this is Geek Squat. (He pronounced Squad like Squat.) I asked him for his first name. He replied, “Rick Patterson.” He asked for the invoice id and I gave it to him but there was nothing but silence on the other end though the call had not ended or dropped. So I hung up.
I called immediately from my Text Me number again and I think a different guy answered. At first I could hear nothing even though I was asking, “Hello? Are you there, Geek Squad?” Finally I could hear a guy. I am not sure if it was the same voice as my first guy who answered. I explained that I was on the call with Mr. Rick Patterson but once I gave him the invoice id number I could not hear anything, and that therefore I eventually hung up. He asked for the invoice id. I gave him the invoice id but I could hear him asking, “Hello, are you there?” I kept answering, “Yes Sir, did you hear me read to you the invoice id?” Finally he could hear me again and I gave him the invoice id. He asked if I wanted to cancel and if I am sitting at my computer." I said, “Yes, I want to cancel.” At this point though, I could hear again him saying, “Hello, hello, are you there?” He must have hung up since I did not hang up.
Either my Text Me call quality is bad or THEIR 'PHONE SYSTEM SUCKS AND THEY NEED TO PURCHASE A BETTER 'PHONE SYSTEM.
If it is so difficult to bait or harass these criminals, imagine just how difficult it is for a potential victim who calls!
Unsurprisingly, the telephone provider is SINCH.

Yes, it is ridiculous that they do not know already the Subtotal, Tax Amount, and Total Amount for their fake invoice.
FURTHER EDIT:
The quality of calls are not so bad when using my Text Free and TextNow numbers. Sometimes my Text Me calls do not have as good of a quality as my Text Now and TextFree numbers.
