Okay, for the first 10 calls or so they answered as Geek Squad. I was harassing them, mocking and insulting, et cetera. On one of the calls, I used a Hindi term to insult the guy and he said, “No, I am from Pakistan. I am NOT Indian!”

But what is funny, on the most recent call that I made a guy answered as Amazon. Ha! I mocked him and his criminal colleagues for being so stupid that they cannot keep their stories straight, that they cannot keep their current scam straight.

(866) 589-0595 He answered with a very unenthusiastic “hello”
I asked him if this is geek squad. He let out a long, mournful sigh and hung up.
What did you guys do to him? Sounds like you broke the scammer! :joy:

That’s completely possible to be fair. There’s a good amount of scammers that sent Indian.

I told him the security at best buy goosed me and fondled my doodle dasher.

@Tagow :joy::joy::rofl::rofl::fist:t3::fist:t3: Looking forward to seeing you next week on the flood, brother!

No answer. Seems to just ring endlessly, no voicemail appears set up.

Ummmm … Well … I did get a lil’ carried away with these criminals. I behaved towards them in a … shall I say uncouth, vulgar, and insulting manner?

A long mournful sigh of a criminal is soothing music to my ears! :notes: :musical_note:

On a scale from 1 to 10 … When they get insulted … Wait are they american?

Ahh ok… So my bad, that was the real geek squad. I checked the legitimacy of the number but there is a link for me to click on. I will update where necessary

Not necessarily the real Geek Squad. There are some American scammers, please stop this stereotype about all scammers being Indian. A food amount are, yes, but it’s nothing inferior about their race, nationality, or country… and there’s plenty of criminals in the US.

Yeah, some. A majority of the scammers are from India, Pakistan, Jamaica, the continent of Africa, etc. There is nothing wrong with recgonizing this fact, and it’s honestly getting annoying that feel the need to take it upon yourself to police what we can and can’t say.

I’m not policing what you can and can’t say. And, yes, you can acknowledge the fact. That doesn’t mean you can instantly declare someone innocent because they’re American.

No one said anything along those lines. You’re just assuming what was meant, and going off of that without even asking for a clarification. So yeah you are trying to police what people say based off of a convoluted notion that recognizing that someone here recognizing a scammer may be American means that scambaiter is saying that American scammer is automatically not guilty of being a scammer. I also seen the comment string where you did much of the same, so you can stop pretending.

After Draco said they’re American.

I don’t know what the same thing is in the first place, but can you tell me where the thread is?

Hi everyone, so the number i posted on this tag which i have since deleted was a real geek squad number. Being american or not is irrelevant.

On the call, they put me through to several people who could not find the auto debit amount, payment number & also warned me this is most likely a scam. I also checked that particular number online and it is popping up a lot as being legit. My apologies about that. The email i received had that particular number attached so i naturally assumed it was them

Again my apologies for the confusion. We are all on the same team

“What do you mean by ‘monkey’? Dunno if you are aware, but a lot of weirdo racist people use it to refer to Chinese/African American people as an insult because some pseudoscientist said to. I’d suggest to not call people that (especially Chinese, Indian, or African American because it might not look good for you if a scammer tries to cause a flame war or something about it.”

That message you sent to Draco, assuming that making a comparison of the scammers lack of intelligence to a monkey is automatically racist. I would say the same fucking thing if the scammer was an American. Also, haven’t you ever heard of the Barbara Streisand effect before? Come off it. These scammers can bitch and moan all they want, what they are doing is illegal so who gives a flying fucking what they have to say.

That isn’t what I assumed… Did you even read the message?

I didn’t know if Draco was referring to their intelligence or what he was referring to at all…

Just look it up… it’s generally considered derogatory/racist. You can have a different opinion on the meaning, but that is the common meaning.
