Well, I can appreciate not wanting a VM (though it’s not a big deal). Though rather than just hanging up and verifying the number, play dumb with them and eat up their time with questions, as this keeps them from mucking with people who may fall for the BS. Right now, a few of us have infiltrated a post from here and are monitoring everything they do.
The issue I’ve had in the past doing that, I get so wrapped up in the conversations, I end up telling my real info.
LMAO…Just create a “Bait Folder” on you DT. Save some BS info, i.e. save some images of their emails, (Right click images from a post here and save as a jpeg/png) create bogus email addresses, bogus accounts on PP, Amazon, etc. that you link to a TN or GV phone # and then play stupid. I like to play a dumb southern boy who ain’t got a clue and they always fall for it.
