So, I’m Iranian and here we’ve got different banking and different apps that are similar like Uber and such! You may have got some phone calls that say “You’ve won $1,000,000! For receiving your prize give me your credit card number!” and then you get scammed! But here, one time a guy called me and said that I’ve won 1,000,000,000 IR, to get your prize please give your credit/debit card number and YOUR PASSWORD!!! I was thinking like… Hey! Let’s make him angry out of his own misery… I started to say that you’ve reached the Saadat Abad Police Station*! How can I help you? Then he just hung up on me! I was like: HAHAHA! Stupid, you got that! Then I called him back again, he said that same message… Then I said that you wanted to order a pizza or go and be a terrorist so I can give your number to the police for scambaiting? He just hung up again!! Then I called back again and… “The number you’ve dialed is off or disconnected temporarily, please check the number or try your call again.” Or in our language (Persian) if you want: “شماره ای که تماس گرفتید موقطا خاموش یا قطع شده است، لطتفا شماره را تصحیح فرمایید یا دوباره تماس بگیرید”. So, I bet he just… Well… Didn’t succeeded… But that my story and hope you guys like it! Thanks for reading this and see you on the next one~
haha that’s funny. You could’ve done some research on where these fellows are located and who they are. That would have been more useful than the story itself.
