They tried to tell me “www.studentloanforgivenesscentre.com” was their website which is proof they aren’t a scam, when I told her how that’s not a working website (for me at least) she told me she has to drop the call.
Lady was quite disrespectful and defensive for no reason, typical. - No real company/workers do that in such a professional environment nor bombard you with calls from different numbers and believe anything you just tell them.

I’ve had obviously scam calls (from the spoofed area code, to the bloop sound prior to them talking, to the Indian person asking for a fake name I gave scammers a while ago) all asking about financial debts and offering student loan relief, medical relief, consolidation etc then transferring me to seemingly real (non-Indian) people. I already told one how bad she and everyone else fell for my shit - Told them how it was a VOIP number, how I’m not american ETC ETC. She still couldn’t tell me how she got the number, how they aren’t doing proper background checks. and whatever else.
They still call. Like what? After I’m told they themselves have now placed me on their little DNC lists twice.
I’m not sure, that website shows a 888#.
But is there any proof they are legit for sure too? Sure, website looks typically legit etc but u can never be too sure with checking and verifying for sure.
I made up a whole story about student debt to waste the Indian person’s time so I couldn’t test the American guy. (I was eager to get off the phone at that point) I have his business card signature (with phone numbers) but I don’t know how to post pictures on here. He seemed legit to me but I don’t know.
Edit: His direct and fax are 314 numbers. And it also felt legit because he quickly called me out for fake information I gave him not being in a student loan database whereas the Indian people have been buying my fake names, cars and addresses for months.
