Basically they pose as the FTC and tell you that the FTC busted a bunch of tech support scams and you’re entitled to a “refund.”
Be aware they connect using Teamviewer but you connect to them and do the "switch sides" thing

We have made an investigation on this issue as per complaint launched by several customers and came to know that the company was running a scam and they were misguiding the people by providing technical support on their computers and charging them several dollars for the support which they did not require at all.
> After proper investigation, we have now chased the company for the fraudulent activity that they were doing to all customers like you and many more.
> Many customers have successfully got the refund from that company on their own, but there are many more who have not yet got their refund. So we are helping all the customers who have not got the refund from the company till yet.
